Margaret Ann Puckett Overstreet, 79, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Jasper Burton Overstreet, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at her home. Born October 3, 1936 in Anderson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Albert Francis Puckett and Lula Mae Wells Puckett.

A graduate of Western High School and a member of the Shiloh Christian Church, Margaret retired from the Fire Commission and KY State Fire Marshall's Office following 25 years of service.

Margaret is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Joseph) Stamper of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Adam (Stacey) Wells, Amanda Wells (fiancée Casey Houle), Stephanie Costa, and Stacy (B.J.) Buckler; three great granddaughters, three step great granddaughters, two step great grandsons, and one step great-great grandson; two sisters, Marcella Miller of Lexington and Frances Stines of Burgin; two brothers, Lee (Norma) Puckett and Jerry (Linda) Puckett, all of Lawrenceburg; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Barbara Puckett.

Along with her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by one great granddaughter, and four brothers, Sidney, James, Harold L., and Charles Albert Puckett.

Private services were held Monday, March 07, 2016 at the Sand Spring Cemetery in Anderson County, KY. Bro. Randy Peyton officiated.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
