Marcus Lin Perry, 52, passed away on his birthday following as illness on January 21, 2023.  Born in Frankfort, KY on January 21, 1971, he is the son of Diana Mountjoy Hill (her husband Rick) of Lawrenceburg and the late William "Bill" Perry.

Along with his father, Marcus was preceded in death by his wife, Kathern Marie "Katie" Long Perry, who died October 8, 2021, his brother Brian Hill, and an uncle Donnie Perry.

An Anderson County High School graduate, Marcus worked as a forklift operator for Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, KY.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  But his greatest love was caring for his sweet daughter Emi.

Including Diana and Rick, he is survived by his daughter Emilee Paige Perry; sister Gina Johnson of Louisville; an aunt Brenda (Jerry) Peach; uncles, Howard Mountjoy, Mark Mountjoy, and Jack (Blanche) Perry; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 5 – 7 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
