Manfred Hogg Service Broadcast

Manfred Hogg, 90, husband of Jean Stucker Hogg, passed away August 29, 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY.  Born May 10, 1931 in Letcher County, KY, Manfred was the son of the late Hobson Hogg and Chelsea Whitaker Hogg.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, James, Erna, and Argyle.

A retired manager with IBM in Lexington, he served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.  He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Woodford County and enjoyed playing golf.

Including Jean, his wife of 64 years, he is survived by his children, Gary Wayne (wife Jorgeann) Hogg of Crestview, FL and Pamela K. Wells of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Kathryn, Stefan, Nicolas, Matthew, Patricia, and Jordyn; four great grandchildren Anthony, Jacob Aghna, and Noland; his siblings, Donna (Danny) Lacy of St. Louis and Foyster Hoff of Henderson, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 2 ^nd from 2 - 3 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm Thursday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastors Chris Harper, Mark Sims, and Foryster Hogg will officiate the service.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dave Boston, Foyster Hogg, Mike Stucker, Chuck Price, Gil Sea, Mark Sims, and Jim Cawby serving as an honorary bearer.
