Mabel V. Chapman, 79, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Born September 28, 1938 in Clark County, Indiana, Mabel was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice Huey Chapman.

Along with her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Lynn Case; three brothers, William Chapman, Jr., Robert Chapman, and Virgil Chapman.

Mabel is survived by her four children, Michael Chapman of Frankfort, James Richardson of Boynton Beach, FL, Deborah Pollard (Jimmy) of Eminence, and Leigh Ann Waits (Monty) of Lawrenceburg.  Her sister, Lorraine Hawkins of Campbellsburg and her brother, Phil Chapman (Judi) of Warsaw.

10 Grandchildren:  Misty Chapman, Stephanie Collins, Macy Thompson, Joshua Merritt, Joseph Pollard, Ashley Richardson, Brandon Bennett, Jamie Richardson, Sarah Blackwell, David Krantz.

12 Great Grandchildren: Jazmin Satterly, Bryson Chapman, Samuel Thompson, Mollie Thompson, Lena Collins, Jasper Merritt, Tifford Merritt, Oliver Pollard, Alyza Hopper, Kerrick Krantz, Emrys Krantz and Allysin Meagher.

A memorial service for Mabel will be held at a future date.
