Lydia Rose Robinson, 90, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Lydia was born on March 14, 1934 in Anderson County, KY to the late Ernest Robinson and Vinnie Alice (Siers) Robinson.

Including her parents, Lydia was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Jane Robinson and Lucille Pelkonen; two nephews, Charles Phillips and Mike Phillips; and two nieces, Margaret McFarland and Ann Johnson.

Lydia was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church where she served as a secretary for the youth Sunday School classes. She was a graduate of Anderson High School and a former employee of Florida Tile in Lawrenceburg. Lydia loved spending time with her sisters.

Lydia is survived by a sister, Virginia M. Robinson of Lawrenceburg; a brother-in-law, Walter Pelkonen of Stanford, KY; a nephew, Leonard and his wife Mellie of Georgetown, KY; and a niece, Donna Phillips of Stanford, KY.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, August 23 followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM Friday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Dr. Robert Ehr will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Leonard Phillips, Marc Phillips, Walter Pelkonen, Donna Phillips, and Mellie Phillips.
