Lueticia Jones Turner, 101, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky was received into eternal rest on September 3, 2016 at Heritage Hall Health and Rehabilitation Center. Preceded in death by her husband William P. Turner; two sons, William A. Turner and Buford Turner; two brothers, Charles H. and Tobias Jones, and three sisters Juanita Botts, Osie Botts and Teola Jones.

Born December 24, 1914 in Fleming County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Daisey Bush Jones.

Lueticia was the oldest member of First Baptist Church in Nepton, Kentucky. She never had much in material wealth. She never was able to drive a car. She never worked outside the home but those 100 plus years made her rich in wisdom and strong in faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Homer L. and Robert D. Turner; five daughters, Joyce A. Shanklin, Phyllis (John) Black, Gloria K. Singleton, Emma J. Jackson and Dolores M. Simpson with whom she resided; one brother, Arthur D. Jones; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; and her devoted caregivers, Vicki Allen, Mary Gregory and her great granddaughter Eriqua J. Jackson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, Sept 10th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY. The Rev. James Custard and Dr. Bob Ehr will officiate the service. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 -9 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday at the Elizaville Cemetery, Elizaville, KY.

Serving as pallbearers will be Oaker Gaines, Sherod Goforth, Carl Lewis Jones, Michael McGuire, Walter L. Simpson, and James M. Singleton. Honorary bearers will be John C. Black, Rolen R. Jackson, Ronald R. Jackson, Earl A. Jones, James W. Turner, Terrance A. Turner, and Brian K. Singleton.
