Lucille Lancaster White, 91, wife of the late William Stanley White, passed away August 13, 2024 at Baptist Health Lexington.  Born on June 23, 1933 in Ohio, Lucille was the daughter of the late Emerson "EB" Lancaster and Rosa Fox Lancaster.

Including her husband and parents, Lucille was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Lee "Chigger" White, a son-in-law, Tad Young, and her siblings, Helen Rowe, Margaret Cole, Fred Lancaster, and Burgess Lancaster.

Lucille formerly owned Family Florist in Lawrenceburg for several years and was best known for her Bible arrangements.  She also previously worked as a dietician at Woodford County Hospital, an employee at Huffman Distillery, and as a tour guide at Four Roses Distillery.  Currently, she was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church where she served on the bereavement committee and she formerly attended Ninevah Christian Church and Pleasant Hill Christian Church.

Survivors include two children, Larry (wife Daisy) White and Donna Young, both of Lawrenceburg; a daughter-in-law, Betty Armstrong White; 8 grandchildren, Desireé White-Douglas, Beth Nixon-Ritchie, LaShannon (Scott) Perkins, Renee Young, Houston White, Lee White, Cecilya (BJ) Goin and Dalton (Keri) Young; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Sand Spring Baptist Church, 1616 Harrodsburg Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY.  Dr. Mike Hamrick and Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Monday and 9 AM until time of service at 12 noon Tuesday, all at Sand Spring Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dalton Young, Houston White, Lee White, Tony Ritchie, BJ Goin, Scott Perkins, Ben Ritchie, Johnny Ritchie, Kennedy Douglas, Jackson White, Ashton White, Brice White, Harley Chesser, and Brayden Norris. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Desireé, Beth, LaShannon, Renee, and Cecilia.
