Clara Lucille Browning Gentry, 100, formerly of Versailles, KY and wife of the late William McKinley Gentry, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2025 in Danville, KY.  Born in Harrodsburg, KY on December 26, 1924, Lucille was the daughter of the late Charles Browning and Ailene Watson Browning.

Lucille held Christ #1 in her life and was a member of the Overland Church of Christ.  A former employee of Texas Instruments in Versailles, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, cooking, and served as a caregiver for numerous people in need over the years.

She is survived by her three children, Lois Todd of Lawrenceburg, Wilma (husband Jack) Hutchison of Versailles, and Robert Joseph "Bob" Gentry of Frankfort; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and a sister, Doris Tillman of Florida.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tom Gentry; a son-in-law, Shelby Todd; and several brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held for Mrs. Gentry with burial in Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
