Lowell Hardin "Jiggs" Riley, Jr., 80, husband of the late Gwendolyn Gayle Drury Riley, passed away May 31, 2023 at his home in Anderson County.   Born in Mercer County, KY on January 6, 1943, he was the son of the late Lowell H. Riley, Sr. and Trixie Stratton Riley.

A former shipping supervisor for Universal Fasteners in Lawrenceburg, Mr. Riley enjoyed fishing and farming.  He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where he served as deacon.

Survivors include his children, Chad L. (Janet) Riley of Junction City, Tammy J. Riley (Donnie) Mattingly of Bloomfield, and David Riley of Lawrenceburg; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Frieda (Joe) Nichols of Ohio; and a brother, William Riley of Florence, KY; and several nieces and nephews.  Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Regina Renee Riley Johnson; and two brothers, Donnie and Connie Riley.

Funeral service will be Monday, June 5, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Bobby Chesser will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3 – 6 PM Sunday and after 9 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Grubbs, Brandon Brown, Jason Coulter, Philip Riley, Dominque Hawkins, and Maverick Gadberry.
