Lowell Boggs, 88, husband of the late Vicki Bailey Boggs, passed away June 11, 2026 at Grant Healthcare in Williamstown, KY.

Born in Hazard, KY on June 27, 1937, Lowell was the son of the late Felix Boggs and Rebecca Eversole Boggs.

Along with his parents and wife. Lowell was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Carmen Boggs Benningfield.

Lowell worked as an insurance agent and owned the State Farm Insurance Office in Lawrenceburg for many years before retiring in 1999.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Frankfort.  He also was a former member and Past Master of the Masonic Lodge #90.

Lowell is survived by his children, Lowell (Mary) Boggs, Jr. of Lewisville, TX and Chrystl Boggs Linzy of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Ashley Benningfield (Lee) Logue, Christina Heather Benningfield, David Blake (Raychel) Bottom, and Destiny Alexis Lynzy; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bishop Mike Parisi will be presiding.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM Tuesday.
