Lowell Wayne Barnett, 69, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Cambridge Place in Lexington.  Lowell was born July 17, 1954 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Hedy Shouse Barnett and the late James "J.R."  "Jake" Barnett.

Lowell was a member of Fairview Christian Church and a Master Mason with lodge #90.  He was an expert transmission mechanic and welder. Lowell enjoyed racing of any kind, boats, cars or motorcycles and was proud to say he drove a Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

Including his mother, Hedy, Lowell is survived by his sisters, Glenda Gay and Libby Ann Goodlett husband Drew, all of Lawrenceburg; two nieces, Dawn Cheak husband Don of Greenbrier, TN, Taylor Westerfield, husband Casie of Lawrenceburg; and a nephew, Brent Campbell of Lexington.

The funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Al Peach and Mike Atcher speaking.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 P.M., Friday with Mason Rites observed at 7:00 P.M. and Saturday from 9 A.M., till time of service at 1 P.M.

Casket bearers will be Drew Goodlett, Casie Westerfield, Cory Doss, Brey Gorall, Jeff Shouse and Steve Shelton.  Honorary bearer will be Brent Campbell.
