Louise Waldridge McGaughey, 77, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her home. The wife of 63 years of Marshall McGaughey, Louise was born August 9, 1937 in Anderson County to the late William and Edna J. Robinson Waldridge.

Louise was a homemaker and a member of the Van Buren Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, canning, and word searches.

Including her husband, she is survived by four children, Helen (Larry) Hood of Chaplin, Lonnie (Linda) McGaughey of Lawrenceburg, Wanda (Jackie) Drury of Lawrenceburg, Shelia McGaughey of Chaplin; four grandchildren, Brian Drury, Stacy (David) Duke, Kalan Hood, Luke Price; five great grandchildren, Kyle Drury, Tyler Duke, Jacob, Emma, and Adelle Hood; a brother, Earnon (Joyce) Waldridge of Taylorsville. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Junior Waldridge.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, May 4th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Lee Smith and Mark Speakman officiating. Burial will follow in the Highview Cemetery in Chaplin, KY. Visitation will be 3 – 7 Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Brian Drury, Kalan Hood, Jacob Hood, Kyle Drury, Luke Price, and David Duke.
