Lois Faye Lawrence Wells, 94, beloved wife of 63 years to the late Truman Maurice Wells, passed away September 18, 2025, at Hometown Manor in Shelbyville, KY. Born on October 15, 1930, Lois was the daughter of the late Charles Lee Lawrence and Roma Ellen Richardson Lawrence.

Lois was a devoted housewife and a faithful member of Alton Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, where she was honored as the oldest living member. She found joy in collecting antiques, tending to her flowers, and spending time in fellowship with the Golden Disciples, the senior adult group at her church. Known for her warm spirit and love of beauty, she had a special fondness for the colors pink and green, which became a trademark of her personality.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Susan Young (Tony) of Lawrenceburg, KY; her grandchildren, Emily Young (Morgan) of Bardstown, KY, and Graham Young (Cameron) of Lexington, KY; and her great-grandchildren, Elliott Haynes and Truman Young.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Louis Ray Lawrence, Carrie Nickell, and Sue Stewart.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Alton Baptist Church, 1321 Bypass North, Lawrenceburg, KY, with Bro. Gary Ellcessor and Dr. John Charles officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Nethery, Jason Denny, Jason Alexander, Larry Etherington, Lee Hahn, and Shane Wall.
