Lois Jean Darnell Sutton, 68, wife of Carl Sutton, passed away June 28, 2022 in Frankfort, KY.  Born on November 12, 1953 in Pennsylvania, Lois was the daughter of the late David Eugene Darnell and Doris Jean Moore Darnell.

Lois worked as a supervisor for the KY Department of Corrections for 16 years and was a member of the Westside Community Church.

Including her husband Carl of 32 years, she is survived by her sons, Randall Goodrich (Nancy Riddle) and Ezra Goodrich (Amanda Gordon), all of Frankfort; two step-sons, Bill Sutton (wife Carrie) of Owenton and Mike Sutton of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Madison, Austin, and Annabell Goodrich; a sister Katherine Bailey (husband Jerry) of Frankfort; two brothers, David Darnell (wife Nancy) and Lawrence Darnell, both of Frankfort.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Alice Campbell and two brothers, Dale Robert Darnell and Dan Darnell.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 11 – 1 followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastor Terry Mattingly will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
