Lois Pulliam Funeral Service LIVE Broadcast

Lois Bell Roach Pulliam, 83, wife of the late Charles Douglas "Doug" Pulliam, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2026, at Signature Healthcare at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She was born on February 17, 1943, in Shelby County, Kentucky, to the late James W. Roach and Catherine Thompson Roach.

Lois was a graduate of Kentucky State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She dedicated much of her professional life to public service, working for the Legislative Research Commission and serving in the Office of the Speaker of the House. She also served as president of the Frankfort Christian Women's Club for several years. Lois was a longtime member of Ninevah Christian Church and had previously been a member of Graefenburg United Methodist Church.

Lois lived a full and adventurous life and enjoyed many interests throughout the years. She and her husband, Doug, shared a love of trap shooting and country-western dancing. They also enjoyed spending time outdoors together. Lois loved traveling, both with her family and through her work, and had the opportunity to visit many countries and experience different cultures and sights. At home, she found joy in sewing and crocheting and cherished the time she spent with the people she loved.

Along with her parents and her beloved husband of 56 years, Lois was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Wallace Roach.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Lesley Potter of Louisville and Rebecca "Becky" Charlton Wilson (Greg) of Versailles; her sisters, Mary Lou Clem and Jane Sims; her brother, Coleman Roach; her grandchildren, Ashley Charlton Probus Bolton (Troy), Brian Probus Ongioni (Paul), Jacob Wilson, and Sarah Wilson Conrow (Kenny); six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, with Greg Wilson and Coleman Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Wilson, Brian Ongioni, Kenny Conrow, Doug Roach, John Roach, and Chris Harrod.
