Lloyd Douglas Thompson, 77, husband of the late Patricia Sue (Marcum) Thompson, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born July 7, 1940 in Logan, West Virginia, Lloyd was the son of the late Hersel and Edith (Walker) Thompson.

Lloyd served six years in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired air freight technician with Delta Airlines. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. in Frankfort. He enjoyed old movies, Western books, and fishing.

He is survived by three children, Steven Douglas (Nancy) Thompson of Lexington, Mark Allen (Stephanie) Thompson and Stephanie Allaine (Michael) Crum, both of Lawrenceburg; nine grandchildren, Sativa, Athena, Araina, Mackenzie, Perrin, Andrew, Amber, Rylee, and Claudia; and his siblings, Ronald (Martha) Thompson of AK, Bonnie (Fred) Wilson of Harrodsburg, Judith "Judy" (Bill) Graham of GA, and Linda (Carl) Mann of FL.

The public is invited to a gathering of family and friends which will begin at 2:00 pm Sunday followed by a service a 3:30 pm Sunday, May 20 ^th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
