Linda Casey Celebration of Life LIVE Broadcast

Linda Faye Roach Casey, 82, passed away on April 30, 2026, at the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center at UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born August 7, 1943, in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Wallace Errol Roach and Ethel Susan Reynolds Roach.

Linda was a member of Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church in Midway, Kentucky, and also attended Family Worship Center in Lawrenceburg. She dedicated more than 38 years of service to Union Underwear Company, later known as Fruit of the Loom, Inc., before her retirement. Linda will be remembered for her positive, upbeat spirit and her genuine kindness toward everyone she met. She had a deep love for people and cherished time spent with her family, especially traveling and attending events together, with Southern Gospel concerts holding a special place in her heart.

She found great joy in the Christmas season and in camping with her family. Linda also treasured special experiences, including a cruise with her son and traveling to Texas to visit him, which became her final trip. She especially enjoyed trips to Gatlinburg with her family over the years, including a memorable visit a few years ago when the entire family traveled together and enjoyed outings to Dollywood and a dinner show at the Stampede.

Linda enjoyed working as a greeter at Walmart, where she formed many meaningful friendships and truly valued her work family. In her free time, she often visited friends at Top Notch Salon in Lawrenceburg. At home, she delighted in the companionship of Bella, affectionately known as the mascot of the house.

Linda is survived by her children, Janice Hopkins of Ohio, Norma Andrade of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Rhonda (Donald) Cole of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Mark (Shane) Casey of Texas, and Michelle (Ken) King of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her beloved dogs, Bella and Ranger.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Norman Casey; her partner, Sterling McDaniel; her sister, Patricia Brown; and her sons-in-law, Mike Hopkins and Jesse Andrade.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Family Worship Center, 1053 Frankfort Road, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, with Bro. Tony Andrade and Bro. Todd Lester officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.
