Linda Faye Ward Blacketer, 70, wife of Mike Blacketer, passed to her Heavenly home on April 13, 2025, in Louisville, KY.  Born in Franklin County, KY on September 23, 1954, Linda was the daughter of the late Jesse Wilby Ward and Layla Pearl Cummins Ward.

Linda worked hard all her life in various jobs. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg and was a woman of strong faith. She deeply loved her God and her family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda enjoyed laughter, music, photography, country drives, and swimming. With love in her heart, she was a caring and capable supervisor in everything she pursued.

Including Mike, her husband of 48 years, she is survived by two sons, Willie Goodlett (wife Jennifer) and Charlie Blacketer (wife Kristy) both of Lawrenceburg; 5 grandchildren, Austin Goodlett, Chase Goodlett, Chloe Goodlett, Dawson Blacketer and Karsyn Blacketer; 3 great grandchildren, Paxton Goodlett, Liam Moore, and Cade Goodlett; seven siblings, Jesse Ward, Delbert Ward, Wanda Morrow, Darlene Coffey, Joyce Warford, Edith Perry, and Brenda Ward.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Stevie Ward.

A time of visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM Thursday, April 17, 2025, followed by the memorial service beginning at 6:30 PM on Thursday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastor Tony Andrade will officiate the service.
