Leonard Alfred Roach, 86, of Frankfort, formerly of Lawrenceburg, Midway, and Lexington passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Frankfort. He was born June 22, 1928 in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Dorothy Rhodes Roach and Leonard Anthony Roach.

Mr. Roach was a graduate of Whitman High School and attended Transylvania University. He was a retired store owner and served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1947 – 1957. He was of the Roman Catholic faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Masonic Lodge #32.

He is survived by a son, William J. Roach of Lexington, and a sister, Barbara Siekmer.

Cremation was chosen no services will be held.
