Leann Headen Hoskins Warford, 64, wife of Mark Coleman Warford, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026, surrounded by family at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, following a cardiac event. Leann was born August 9, 1961 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Shirley Burke Headen Hoskins and the late Kenneth Preston Hoskins.

She was a graduate of Anderson County High School and Georgetown College and began her career at IBM and Ashland Oil in Lexington. She later dedicated several years to her family as a stay-at-home mother before returning to work as a computer technician at Anderson County Middle School.

In the spring of 1984, she met Mark, the love of her life and her best friend. They were married about six months later on September 14, 1984, at First Baptist Church. Together, they shared 42 wonderful years and raised four children: Amanda, Mary Ann, Allen, and Luke. She was also the kindest and nuttiest "Nana" to ten grandchildren: Faith, Samantha Jo, Erin, Benson, Nolan, Caius, Ayla, Shiloh, Judah, and one on the way.

Leann lived life to her own terms and to the fullest. She had a way of making every gathering louder, funnier, and more memorable. Leann was bold, competitive, and fun. She was never afraid to make an entrance- or a scene.

She was a devoted fan of Kentucky Wildcats and Green Bay Packers and adored her five pugs. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church and a more recent member of Ninevah Christian Church, both in Lawrenceburg. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her father, Leann is preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Kenneth Hoskins.

Along with her husband Mark and her mother Shirley, Leann is survived by her four children; Amanda Warford Edge (Casey), Mary Ann Adams (Gardner), Allen Coleman Warford (Brittany), and Luke Preston Warford (Ally); her ten grandchildren, Faith Elizabeth Edge, Samantha Jo Edge, Erin Brooke Edge, Benson Gardner Adams, Nolan Nevins Adams, Caius Coleman Warford, Ayla Joy Warford, Shiloh Paige Warford, Judah Preston Warford, and a grandchild on the way; her brother, Philip Patrick Hoskins (Janet); a sister-in-law, Barbara Hoskins; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 4:00PM – 8:00PM and Friday, March 27, 2026 from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church, 111 N Main St, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342. Funeral service to follow at 11:00AM with Bro. Bob Ehr and Terry Cooper officiating. Interment afterwards at Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Whitaker Hoskins, Caleb Hoskins, Bryan Hoskins, Gardner Adams, Casey Edge, Greg Cinnamon, Kevin Brown, and Dave Booth.
