Leah Ann Goodpaster Drury, 59, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born November 22, 1960 in Lexington, KY, Leah is the daughter of Helen Holbrook Wash of Lawrenceburg and the late Dolph Goodpaster.

Leah was a 1979 graduate of Anderson County High School and in 1981 graduated from the Kentucky College of Barbering.  Following college she worked with J.R. Cox at the Hair Hut in Lawrenceburg.  She retired as a reading teacher at Saffell Street Elementary School.  One of her greatest enjoyments was raising her four girls and being an active soccer mom when they were young.

Along with her mother, Leah is survived by her four girls, Ann-Tyler (Adam) Bryant of Lawrenceburg, Amanda Drury of Lawrenceburg, Hannah Drury of Irving, TX, and Laura Drury of Lawrenceburg;   two grandchildren, Bianca and Ethan Bryant; a sister Joy (Robert) Rangel of Alexandria, VA; and two brothers, Aaron (Julie) Goodpaster and Jimmy (Candy) Marquardt, both of Lawrenceburg; 6 nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 23 ^rd from 2 - 6 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.

Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, Feb. 24 ^th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the services.  Dr. Jeff Eaton will officiate the service.
