Leah Katharyn Deaton Briemer, 58, wife of the late John Richard Briemer, Jr., passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Lawrenceburg.  Leah was born October 17, 1962 in Lexington, KY to Jerry Deaton, Jr. and Emily Katharyn Lebold Deaton of Frankfort.

Leah was a former ICU registered nurse at the Rochester Memorial Hospital in New York, but was lovingly known as "everybody's nurse".  Leah was a volunteer with the Humane Society, and a very active supporter with the Democratic Party.  Leah loved her family dearly, and her three grandchildren brought her so much joy.

Including her parents, Jerry & Emily, she is survived by a son, John "Johnny" Breeze and his wife Sara of Lawrenceburg;  a daughter, Terri Katharyn Briemer of Lawrenceburg;  three grandchildren, Kallie, Camden and Emma Katharyn;  a brother, Jerry "Bucky" Deaton and his wife Leslie of Frankfort;  two sisters, Josa "Josie" Deaton Harl and her husband Dave of Lexington, Chrissy Deaton and her husband Mitch Hannon of Albuquerque, NM;  and a nephew and several nieces.

No services are scheduled at this time.  Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
