LD Blackmer, age 65, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 in Lawrenceburg. LD was born November 20, 1959 in St. Johns, Michigan to the late Robert David Black and Virginia Louise Higgins Blackmer.

Including his parents, LD was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles "Butch" Blackmer, George "Bud" Blackmer and Johnny Blackmer.

LD was a former Drywall Hanger and loved working on lawn mowers and engines.  He enjoyed reminiscing, trail riding, but most of all LD enjoyed being with his three sons.

LD is survived by his three sons, Joshua Blackmer (Machelle), Joey Blackmer (Crystal), all of Lancaster and Russell Blackmer (Amber) of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Brian Blackmer, Ellie Blackmer, Aspen Blackmer and Boe Blackmer; his siblings, Bob Blackmer, Dennis Blackmer Louetta McLaren (John), and Viola Martin (Kim), all of St. Johns, Michigan.

Cremation was chosen. No public services are scheduled.
