Laurene Poulter Gaunce Funeral Service Live Broadcast

Laurene Poulter Gaunce, 78, passed away February 1, 2021 at Signature Healthcare at Heritage Hall.  Born February 7, 1942 in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Asa Bruce Poulter and Georgia Marie Beckman Poulter.

Along with her parents, Laurene was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Tim Brothers; sisters, Rayma Carter, Juanita Baxter, and Margaret Ann Harper; and a brother, Bruce Morgan "Buddy" Poulter.

A 1960 graduate of Anderson County High School, Laurene retired following 30 years of service as an Administrative Specialist for the Medicaid Branch for the KY Cabinet for Family Services.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Builders Sunday School Class.  Formerly, she attended the Anderson County Senior Citizens and exercise classes at Eagle Lake.

Laurene is survived by her children, Bruce Ray (wife Dawn) Caldwell and Sherri Brothers, both of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Lucas Kyle Brothers, Benjamin Scott Brothers, Taylor Bruce Caldwell, and Amanda Faye Blair; great grandchildren, Ethan James Brothers, Alexis Ann-Faith Caldwell, Trevor Thomas Blair, Raylan Greyy Caldwell, and Zimri William Bishop; a sister, Jane Chisholm of Lawrenceburg; a sister-in-law, Nina Poulter and a brother-in-law, William Carter; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held on Thursday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Mark Logsdon will officiate the service.  Cremation will follow the services.
