Laura Frances Crask Shouse, 66, wife of the late William Lynn "Whimpy" Shouse. Passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Born May 12, 1950 in Franklin County, KY, Laura is the daughter of the late Ancel Newton Crask and Lucille Shouse Crask.

Laura retired from the State Justice Cabinet. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church and she enjoyed, singing in a gospel quartet and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son, Dan T. Shouse (Lori Drury), of Anderson County; a brother, Michael B. Crask (Kathy) of Harrodsburg; a sister Connie Crask of Lawrenceburg; two nephews, Jason Michael Crask (Erica) and Andrew Jordan Crask; two grandchildren, Clayton Thomas Shouse and Leah Beth Shouse. In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Thomas Crask.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 18 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Best Cemetery in Anderson County. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Crask, Andy Crask, Rickey Shouse, Brad Nethery, Larry Stevens, and Jerry Shely. Honorary bearers will be James Coleman Tinsley, Collis Searcy, Eddie Stevens, Jennifer Nethery, Alma Murphy, and Sadie Tinsley.
