Larry Berry Young, 75, of Lawrenceburg passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was born December 31, 1938 in Anderson County to the late Louis Berry and Margaret Elder Young.

Larry was a retired employee of IBM in Lexington and attended Eastern Kentucky University. He was a member of the First Baptist Church where he attended the Fishers of Men Sunday School Class and sang in the Hims of Harmony.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Georgia Mae Shouse Young; three children, Teresa Renee (Danny) Cole, Berry Lynn (Barbie) Young, and Eric Scott (Leigh Ann) Young; 6 grandchildren, Jason Bradley (Shannon) Cole, Jennifer Karen (Josh) Lillpop, Logan Berry (Katie) Young, Kelsey Lauren (Patrick) Richardson, Roston Tyler and Rylie Lain Young; 2 great grandchildren, Chloe Paige Cole and Jacie Renee Lillpop; and a brother, Terry Elder (Lexie) Young of Mercer County.

Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, March 21, 2014 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Berry, Eric, Logan and Rostan Young, Danny and Jason Cole.
