Larry Glenn Reed, 66, of Lawrenceburg, husband of 47 years to Carolyn Wise Reed, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born February 7, 1950 in Harrodsburg, KY, Larry was the son of the late Carlo and Virginia Stratton Reed.

A used car dealer, Larry was the owner/operator of Reed's Auto Sales, a 1968 graduate of Mercer County High School, and served in the Kentucky National Guard. He enjoyed classic car restoration and was a member of the Ancient Age Street Rod Car Club and a former founding member of the Wheels of Time Car Club.

Along with his wife Carolyn, he is survived by a daughter, Deidra Wade and her husband Wayne, and a granddaughter, Maddie Mae Wade, all of Lawrenceburg, and a sister, Brenda Watts and her husband Sammy of Harrodsburg.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 9th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Friday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dude Caldwell, Carlton Hatton, Lee Lake, Roger Farris, Troy Moore, and Bobby Sallee.
