Larette Dawn Greenwell Gaines, age 55, wife of Larry Ray Gaines, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 in Anderson County.  Larette was born October 7, 1968 in Frankfort, KY to Pamela Jill Luttrell Greenwell and the late Larry Wayne Greenwell.

Larette was a graduate of Anderson County High School and a former employee of YH America in Versailles. She was an avid Harry Potter fan and loved animals and music.  Her grandchildren were her greatest love.

Larette is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry; her children, Matt Gaines (Courtney) of Lawrenceburg, Shane Gaines of Frankfort and Laranda Gaines of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Bryent Bowlin, Ayden Drury, Bekka Hall, Mia Gaines and Ivy Gaines; and her mother-in-law, Beulah Stivers of Florida.

Including her father, Larette was preceded in death her father-in-law, Darnell Stivers.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 8, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Alex McGaughey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M.
