Lacey Jane Bean Cunningham, 90, wife of the late J.C. Cunningham, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at her home.  Born in Lawrenceburg, KY on March 25, 1932, Lacey was the daughter of the late Christopher Lee Bean and Madge Todd Bean.

A graduate of the Lincoln Institute in Simpsonville, KY, Lacey worked with the Cartinhour family through four generations and as a retail clerk for The Mrs. Cox's Shop in downtown Lawrenceburg.  A very loyal and faithful member at the Craig Chapel A.M.E. Church in Salvisa, KY, where she served as a Decanis.  She also was an avid University of Kentucky fan.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sisters-in-law, Janet Bean of Lawrenceburg and Gloria Bean of Columbia, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Beulah Gill and six brothers, William Bean, Roland Bean, Robert Bean, Lewis Bean, Lucian Bean, and Wallace Bean.

A gathering for family and friends celebrating Lacey's life will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5 – 7 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Woodlawn Hills Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, KY.
