Kevin Michael Grooms, 61, husband of Sandra Whitaker Grooms, passed away March 11, 2023 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born at Camp Lejeune, NC on March 7, 1962, Kevin was the son of the late James Robert Grooms, Sr. and Mary Jean Allen Grooms.

He formerly worked as a die setter at Topy America, Inc. in Frankfort, KY and served on the Anderson County Fire Department in Glensboro.  An avid University of Kentucky fan and Cincinnati Reds baseball fan, he enjoyed fishing and was a musician.

Including Sandra, his wife of almost 30 years, he is survived by children and grandchildren he helped raise, Angela, Rebecca, Stacey, Corey, Rayven, and Maraya; grandchildren, Adaline and Auston; great grandchildren, Kyler and Kayleigh; and two nephews, Nathan Grooms and James Robert Grooms, III.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Robert "Jim" Grooms, Jr.

No public services will be held.  Cremation was chosen.  Arrangements entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
