Kent Coleman Cox, 61, husband of Teresa Adams Cox, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born May 24, 1958 in Frankfort, KY, Kent was the son of the late Ralph Coleman Cox and Virgie Onita Chilton Cox.

A 1976 graduate of Anderson County High School, Kent retired in Quality Control from IBM and Lex Mark in Lexington following over 35 years of service.  He was a member of the Claylick United Methodist Church and attended Corinth Christian Church.  Kent enjoyed hunting, playing softball, and he loved his grandchildren.

Including his wife, Kent is survived by his three sons, Jeremy Coleman Cox and Jacob Kent Cox (wife Brenda) all of Lawrenceburg, and Jonathan Thomas Cox (wife Brittany) of Glasgow; three grandchildren, Jasmine Nicoleman Cox, Hallie and Greg Cox; a brother, Kelly Cox (wife Tina); a niece Sharaya Cox; a nephew Levi Cox; and his mothers-in-law, Mary Ellen Graves and Rita Carlton Adams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 11 ^th beginning at 1:00 pm at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Matt Sawyer will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.  Visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 10 am -1 pm.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly Cox, Levi Cox, Mark Adams, David Perry, Chris Sea, and Evan Chrisman.  Honorary bearers will be Musial Pearson, Donald and Ronald Bottom.
