Kenneth Ray Sutherland, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort. He was the husband of the late Joyce Fay Brown Sutherland, who passed away December 2015. Born November 19, 1943, Kenneth was the son of the late Charlie Amos and Fannie Mae Hawkins Sutherland.

A retired employee of Wild Turkey Distillery, Kenneth was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and attending the annual KY State Fair Horse Show.

Survivors include two children Beverly G. Simpson of Lawrenceburg and her fiancée John Coomer, and Timothy R. Sutherland of Frankfort; two grandchildren, Tamara Proctor and McKayla Sutherland; two great grandchildren, Zadia Proctor and Jensen Devine; and a brother, Charles Allan (Betty) Sutherland.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, March 11th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 – 2 PM Friday.
