Kenneth "Kenny" Francis Ansert, III, 45, of Louisville, Kentucky, husband of 17 years to Michael Franklin Hart Ansert, passed away July 1, 2026 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Kenny was born April 30, 1981.

Kenny was described as a sweet, kind, funny man, who loved children. He loved his boys, as well as the foster kids he took into his home. Kenny got his Bachelor's of Child Psychology at EKU. "Miss" held a special place in his heart, before getting off the phone with her they would always say, "I love you to infinity and beyond." He had many hobbies; being outside enjoying nature, watching TikTok, listening to music, singing, and watching his favorite show, Friends. Kenny was a big Louisville Cardinals fan.

Along with his husband, Kenny is survived by his father, "Hank" Kenneth Francis Ansert, Jr. and his stepmother Marilyn Loretta Ansert of Louisville, Kentucky; his boys, Brandon Michael Hart (India) of Ashland, Kentucky, and Cameron Bayley Hart (Gracie) of Huntington, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Aidyn, Holland, and Vance; a sister, Jenny Ansert; four step brothers, "Jim" James Brentlinger, Rob Brentlinger, Michael Brentlinger, and Erik Brentlinger; two half siblings, Cindy Goldsmith and James Westrey; the aunt who opened her home to Kenny, "Miss" Missy Ansert Berger; several other aunts and uncles who loved him dearly; numerous cousins; his special friends, Lana Peach and Kelly Blandford; and his in-laws who loved him dearly, Diana Lynn Hart and Steven Russell Hart.

Kenny is preceded in death by his biological mother Linda Lucille Hayko Ansert.

A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home. Family has chosen cremation following the visitation.
