Keith Allison Nowlin , age 54, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025, in Georgetown, KY. Keith was born in Versailles, KY on January 19, 1971, to the late William Harlan Nowlin, Sr. and Virginia Louise Maybrier Nowlin.

Including his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a brother, Gari Stewart; brother-in-law, Richie Adams; and his stepmother, Elizabeth Ann "Libby" Nowlin.

Keith was a dedicated professional with a long and varied career. He served as a Preventive Maintenance Specialist at the University of Kentucky Credit Union and worked for over 33 years as an Assistant Manager, Butcher, and Produce Manager with IGA, Foodtown, and Kroger. Keith also owned and operated Nowlin's Property Maintenance for 29 years. His service extended to the Lawrenceburg Fire and Rescue Unit 317, where he proudly held the rank of Lieutenant for over 30 years and was a founding member of the Lawrenceburg Fire and Rescue Honor Guard. Keith was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard, having served during Operation Desert Storm, and he was a lifetime member of VFW Post 680. He graduated from Anderson County High School, class of 1989, and was deeply committed to his community and country throughout his life. Keith was also a passionate UK basketball fan.

Keith is survived by his partner, Stephanie Parish of Lexington, KY; his daughters, Allison Dawn Nowlin Freeman (husband Hunter) of Shelbyville, KY and Miranda Kylie Nowlin Stoops (husband Bryson) of Bloomfield, KY; his grandchildren, Rhett Alan Stoops, Daxton Baker Stoops and Harlan Walker Freeman; two brothers, William H. "Chip" Nowlin, II of Lawrenceburg and Michael Troy Nowlin of Lexington; a sister, Christi Renee Adams of Richmond, KY; and his beloved dogs, Baylee and Ruger.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, immediately followed by his funeral service at 2:00 PM. Chuck Helms will officiate the service. Burial with military honor will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Collins, Anthony Willhoite, William Curtsinger, Bryson Stoops, Hunter Freeman, William Harlan Nowlin, III and Robbie Harlow.

Honorary bearers will be members of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department and the Anderson County Fire Department.
