Kathern "Katie" Marie Long Perry, 35, wife of Marcus Perry, passed away October 8, 2021 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  She was born October 6, 1986 in Lexington, KY and is the daughter of Chris (wife Melissa) Long of Frankfort and Juanita (husband Pete) Croucher of Frankfort.

She was preceded in death by her step-grandfather Kenneth Jett and her father-in-law Bill Perry.

A graduate of Franklin County High School, Katie was a former employee of Buffalo Trace Distillery.  Her greatest love was being a mom to her daughter Emilee.

Including her husband and parents, Katie is survived by her daughter, Emilee Paige Perry; paternal grandparents, Nancy Jett of Frankfort and Eugene Long of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Anthony Paul Croucher of Frankfort and Joshua Matthew Croucher of Grayson, KY; a step-brother Brandon Burgess of Lexington; and her mother-in-law, Diana (husband Rick) Hill of Lawrenceburg.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12 ^th from 2 – 5 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the gathering.
