Kathleen Grubbs Rucker Funeral Service Live Broadcast

Kathleen Grubbs Rucker, 84, passed away January 30, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Born May 4, 1936 in Anderson County, KY, Kathleen was a daughter of the late Gilbert Grubbs and Bertha Sea Grubbs.

Along with her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husbands, James Jeffries and Ralph Rucker; a daughter, Vivian Ritchie; a great granddaughter, Sassymay Rice; one sister, and three brothers.

Kathleen was a retired employee of Weber Farms and a member of the First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed working in her yard, going out to eat, taking walks and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Osbourn of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Ronald E. Grigsby, Jr, Sue A. Rice (fiancée Billy), Robert D. (Nicole) Moore, Vince (Kim) Ritchie; twelve great grandchildren, Dillon Dearinger, Lucus (Andrea) Dearinger, Shady Rice, Serenity Rice, Austin Moore, Carlee Hagan, Kelcie Grigsby, Katie Grigsby, Kathleen Grigsby, Tyler Grigsby, Logan Ritchie, and Coralee Ritchie; three great grandchildren, Mykee Dearinger, Kingsley Grigsby, and Legend Grigsby; and four sisters, Carolyn Nethery, Mary (Sammy) Riley, Marcella Boblett, and Debbie Richardson.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11 am Tuesday, Feb. 2 ^nd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home followed by the service beginning at 11:00 am Tuesday.  Bro. Larry Gritton will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
