Karen Machele Simmons Glass, 55, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. Born August 12, 1963 in Louisville, KY, Karen is the daughter of Marcy (Thomas) Simmons and the late Gerald Dale Simmons.

Karen worked as a caregiver for the elderly and loved her daughter and grandsons.

Along with her mother, Karen is survived by her daughter, Kristi (Brad) Holt of Lawrenceburg; her grandsons, Cameron Sheets, Landon Willard-Holt, and Easton Holt; her siblings, Carolyn (David) Wright of NC, Kevin Simmons and Troy (Rita) Simmons, both of Lawrenceburg.

Including her father, Karen was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mildred Livers and her paternal grandparents, Elvis and Betty Simmons.

Funeral Rites with final blessings will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8 ^th beginning at 7:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Fr. Jeff Estacio will officiate the service. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Thursday from 5 – 7 PM.
