Justin Gregory Thurman, 21, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Anderson County. Born August 12, 1994 in Lexington, KY, Justin is the son of Donald Gregory "Greg" Thurman and his wife Lisa Cook Thurman of Lawrenceburg and Kelly Jo Anderson of Hobson, MT.

A 2012 graduate of Anderson County High School, Justin enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his truck, watching NASCAR, and playing with his nephews and cousins. He attended Corinth Christian Church and Sand Spring Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, Justin is survived by a sister, Leah Marie Thurman of Bozeman, MT, Gabriel Ethan Grant and Cory Ryan Grant and his wife Alyssa Raymond-Read, all of Lawrenceburg; three nephews, Gavin Ethan Grant, Robert Gabriel "Robbie" Grant-Read, and Sagan Springer Grant-Read; paternal grandparents, Judy Thurman Coke and her husband Thomas, and Wilma Harris Cook, all of Lawrenceburg and great grandmother, Jennie Lee Thurman of Frankfort; maternal grandparents, Thomas and JoAnn Corey of Lawrenceburg, and Charles and Erma Anderson of NM. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Donald Eugene Thurman.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 20th at Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY with Scott Young and Terry Cooper officiating. Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Tuesday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Steven Estes, Jacob Cummins, Aaron Kinne, Adam Gay, Corey Grant, Gabe Grant, Jonathan Ballard, and Ezra Hopper.
