Elbert Wayne "Junior" Beasley, 74, husband of Donna Brown Beasley, passed away on September 17, 2025, at University of Louisville Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born on October 9, 1950, in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late William Carl Beasley and Lillie Mae Bowman Beasley.

Junior was a member of Tyrone Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg and a 1971 graduate of Anderson County High School. During his school years, he played both football and baseball and later carried his passion for athletics into slow-pitch softball, where he excelled and was inducted into the Kentucky Softball Hall of Fame. He retired from Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg after more than 40 years of dedicated service in maintenance.

He found joy in racing his Ford Mustangs with his family, as well as hunting, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors. Above all, Junior cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, and had a special gift for making everyone he met feel valued and special. He especially loved basketball—watching kids play in person at local games and enjoying recordings at home.

In addition to Donna, his wife of 54 years, Junior is survived by his sons, Adam Beasley and Jonathan Beasley (Tina), both of Lawrenceburg, KY; his grandchildren, Noah Beasley, Kora Beasley, Ace Beasley, Kam Beasley, and Jameson Smith; and his siblings, Mary Lou Gillis, Connie Blackwell, William "Bill" Beasley, and Johnny Beasley (Randy).

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Clara Rose Beasley, Marcus Karl Beasley, Harold "Tommy" Beasley, and Ray Maurice Beasley.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Webb officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. A private graveside service will follow on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
