Julie McKee Cinnamon Milburn, 63, wife of Ellery Milburn, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2024.  Born in Frankfort, KY on January 29, 1961, Julie was the daughter of Gene and Mary Ruth Cinnamon of Lawrenceburg.

A 1979 graduate of Anderson County High School, Julie received her bachelor's degree in education from Kentucky State University and her master's from Georgetown College.  During her career she taught at Anderson Middle School for Anderson County Board of Education.  An active member of Sand Spring Baptist Church, she served in the church choir, co-teacher of the Koinonia Sunday School Class, served on the greeting committee, missions committee, committee for Anderson United, and assisted her husband in planning outings for the senior adults group known as the Sand Springers.  Julie's greatest blessing was being a Grammy to her precious granddaughters, Maddie Ruth and Hannah Mae.

Including her parents and Ellery, her husband of 36 years, she is survived by her daughter, Maribeth Franklin and her husband Kyle of Kuttawa, KY; two granddaughters Maddie Ruth Franklin and Hannah Mae Franklin; a brother, Greg (wife Denise) Cinnamon; a sister-in-law Brenda McIlvoy; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Julie's Life will be held with a visitation from 3 – 7 pm Monday and 9 – 11 am Tuesday at Sand Spring Baptist Church.  Services will begin at 11 am Tuesday at Sand Spring Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Brown, John McCoy, Steven Royalty, Flatty Wilder, Barry Akins, Bobby Montgomery, and Doug Hanks.  Honorary bearers will be Sheila Rose, Mitzi Brown, Vicki Walker, Missy Hunt, Denise Cinnamon, Heather Norwood, Teresa Cole, and Rhonda Schierer.
