Judith Carol Crawley Bates Purple, 75, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Bradford Square in Frankfort, KY.  Judith was born September 2, 1945 in Frankfort, KY to the late Robert Crawley, Jr. and Rebecca Housechild Crawley.

Judith was a former shipping and receiving clerk with YKK, a 1964 graduate of Franklin County High School, and a member of Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church. Judith loved animals, especially her cats.  Her greatest love were her children and grandchildren.

Including her parents, Judith was preceded in death by the father of her children, Steve Bates.

Judith is survived by her two children, Barbara Carol Chilton and her husband Bruce of Lawrenceburg and Troy Stephen Bates of Frankfort;  three grandchildren, Brooklyn Leigh Lilly and her husband DeShawn of Lawrenceburg, Savanna Marie Bates and Tory Kaylynn Bates, both of Frankfort; a great grandson, Mason Lawrence Lilly; a sister Bobbie Cook and her husband Skip of Frankfort, Larry Crawley of Frankfort and David Crawley and his wife Rebecca of Macon, GA.

Judith chose cremation with burial of her cremains at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery at a later date.
