Jr Darnell, husband of 53 years to Linda Gayle (Keeling) Darnell, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Harrodsburg. Jr. was born January 27, 1947 in Washington County, KY to Louise (Drury) Darnell and the late L.C. Darnell, Sr.

Including his father, Jr. was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brian Robinson.

Jr was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. Jr was a farmer and hauled water and cattle. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Including his wife and mother, Jr is survived by three children, Cindy Robinson Baker (Harley) of Harrodsburg, Teresa Bottoms (Tharen Stevens) of Parksville; and Jeffrey Clay Darnell (Tammy) of Harrodsburg; siblings, Marie McKinney, Dudley Darnell (Karen) and Tracy Lique, all of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Whitney, Tyler, Jacob, Jessica, Hope, Shelby and Clayra; and three great grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Brogli officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 P.M., Tuesday and after 8 am Wednesday.

Casket bearers will be Dudley Darnell, Jr., Kendall Ross, Gary Buntain, Brent Steele, Terry Steele, Jacob Robinson, Tyler Bottoms and Mark Beasley. Grandchildren will serve as honorary bearers.
