Joyce Mae Sea Stratton, 88, beloved wife of 73 years to the late William D. "Billy" Stratton, passed away January 22, 2023 at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg, KY.  Born in Anderson County on July 20, 1934, Joyce was the daughter of the late Daily Sea and Lorena Yeager Sea.

A former employee with Texas Instruments in Versailles, she retired from the Kentucky Dept. of Revenue.  Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church and New Hope Sunday school class.  She loved her family, extended family, and her dear friends.

She is survived by her four children, Sandy (husband Eddie) Humston of Versailles, Wayne (wife Bobbi) Stratton, Anthony (wife Tammy) Stratton, and Tamara (husband Keith) Currens, all of Lawrenceburg; 8 grandchildren, Leslie Fields, Andy Stratton, Heather (Michael) Fortney, Chad Stratton, Tripp (Allison) Humston, Deborah (Adam) Brock, Jesse Keith Currens, and Kaci (Jacob) Crouch; and great grandchildren, Mollie, Lexie, Kyleigh, Julia, Cole, Adam, Brayden, Caden, Kinley, Brinkley, and Eli.

Including her husband Billy, who passed January 10, 2023, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Millard Sea, Clinton Sea, Ethelene Hughes, Irene Chowning, Lelia Satterly, Sarah Carney, Nina Hyatt, Forrest Sea, and Norma Champion.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Ehr officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday and after 9:30 AM Saturday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tripp Humston, Michael Fortney, Andy Stratton, Chad Stratton, Jesse Currens, Jacob Crouch, and Gary Hawkins.  Joyce's nieces will serve as honorary bearers.
