Joshua Wayne Pilz, 44, of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away on April 23, 2026. Born May 14, 1981, in Frankfort, Kentucky, he was the son of Judith Linda Pilz Peyton and the late Bernice Wayne Peyton.

Josh was a skilled mechanic who enjoyed working on cars and spending time fishing. He was always willing to help others, loved pets and children, and was a natural caretaker. Josh also enjoyed cooking and sharing meals, and his kind nature and great personality made him well-loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, Josh is survived by his children, Brittany Shoup of Canton, Ohio, Hannah Williams of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Joshua Wayne Williams of Frankfort, Kentucky, Serena Pilz of Minerva, Ohio, Serenity Garvin, and Willow Shryock; his brothers, Lucas Peyton and Matthew Peyton, both of Frankfort, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Jaydien Fronsman, Savannah Fronsman, and Jordan Toro; and several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his father, Josh was preceded in death by his son, Jarrayd Szesze.

Cremation was chosen, and a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Capital Church of God, 600 ½ Schenkel Lane, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
