Josephine Beasley Goodlett, 78, widow of William Harrison Goodlett, passed away June 27, 2023.  Born in Anderson County on November 19, 1944, Josephine was the daughter of John Whitt Beasley and Eleanor Akins Beasley.

Josephine was a retired employee of YH America and a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Lawrenceburg.

She is survived by three children, Joseph Beasley of Lawrenceburg, Rodney Wash of Lexington, and Stacy Wash Mason of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Geri Wash, Shelby Poe, and Aaron Wash; five great grandchildren, Harper Stratton, Bailee Poe, Haisley Whitaker, Jayson Poe, and Jaxon Wash; and her siblings, Howard Beasley, Charles Beasley, Don Beasley, John Barley Beasley, Elizabeth Pinkston, Judy Smith Beasley, Norman Beasley, Naomi Satterwhite, and Nancy McKinney.  Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by Candy Lewis, Rosemary Fint, and Yvonne Brown.

According to Josephine's wishes no public services will be held.   Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
