Funeral Service Broadcast for Joseph Puckett

Joseph Bronson Puckett, 49, husband of Heather Barrick Puckett, went to be with his Lord on February 26, 2025. Born on January 17, 1976, in Frankfort, KY, Joseph was the son of Willis Barbara Perry Puckett and the late Sidney Bronson Puckett.

Along with his father, Sidney Bronson Puckett, Joseph was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Paul Barrick, Jr.

Joseph was a cherished member of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, where he served as a member of the Safety & Security Team. He was also a dedicated senior field technician for Gainwell Technologies, known for his exceptional skills and strong work ethic. Joseph graduated from Anderson County High School in 1995 and furthered his education at both Murray State University and Kentucky State University. He proudly served as a member of the Lab Rats at Kentucky State University and was a passionate fan of both Marvel and Star Wars. Outside of work and church, Joseph was an outstanding cook, and his Jambalaya became a favorite among those who had the pleasure of enjoying it.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Heather Barrick Puckett, of Harrodsburg; his mother, Willis Barbara Perry Puckett of Lawrenceburg; sister, Cynthia Renee Puckett (husband Christian) Tackett of Frankfort; niece, Sydney Tackett; nephews, Thomas Tackett, Christopher Barrick, Lennon Barrick, and Avery Duncan; mother-in-law, Bonnie Bennett Barrick; brother-in-law, Todd (wife Spring) Barrick; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, immediately followed by his funeral service at 2:00 PM. Dr. Robert Ehr will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be John C. Drake III, Dennis Cantrell, Todd Barrick, Avery Duncan, Christian Tackett, and Thomas Tackett.
