John Wesley "Johnny" Caldwell, 75, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020 at his home.  Born December 1, 1944 in Anderson County, KY, Johnny was the son of the late Charles Newton Caldwell and Dora Bell Smith Caldwell.

Along with his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Gustine "Joey" Caldwell; siblings Earl, Bill, and J.S. Caldwell, Audrey Riddell, Betty Robinson, Dora Lee Robinson, Jean Hawkins, Susan Ritchey, and Pete Smith.

Johnny was a former trucker driver and worker for Dude's Muffler, Brake and Towing Service as a wrecker driver.  Johnny's favorite pastime was working on his old cars.

Johnny is survived by three children, David Eugene (Rhonda) Caldwell of Lexington, Timothy Scott Caldwell of Lawrenceburg, and Stacy Lynn Caldwell Lovins of Frankfort; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Blanch York of Lawrenceburg; and a brother, Roger (Karen) Caldwell of Lawrenceburg.

Johnny chose cremation.  No services are scheduled.  Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
