John Leslie Webb, 73, husband of Terese Webb, passed away on July 7, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on March 19, 1953, in Red Bank, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John Ellis Webb and Charlotte Rose Webb.

John was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceburg, where he faithfully served as an elder. He was a graduate of Centre College and retired as a Program Supervisor with the Division of Maternal and Child Health. Following his retirement, he found great joy working as a tour guide at Wild Turkey Distillery, a role that perfectly suited his outgoing personality and genuine love of meeting people.

In his free time, John enjoyed building intricate model train layouts, many inspired by scenes from Lawrenceburg. He had a passion for gardening and took pride in growing a wide variety of produce. He loved traveling, especially to visit his grandchildren and to go on cruises. He also enjoyed birdwatching, listening to 1970s rock music, reading, and exploring history as an avid history buff.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, David Webb.

In addition to his wife of 26 years, Terese, John is survived by his children, Michael Webb, Cassie Siedlik (Jon), Kate Gregory (Kevin), and David Prichard (Hannah); his granddaughters, Isabella and Haley; and his siblings, Mark Webb (Robyn) and Susan DeLorenzo (Rocky).

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at First Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceburg, 101 N. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, with Rev. Susan Warren officiating. Visitation will take place beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service. Cremation will take place following the service.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Mark Webb, Michael Webb, David Prichard, and David Schaars.
