John Tillman Goforth, age 66, husband of the late Cynthia Grace Higdon Goforth, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Lexington, KY. John was born March 6, 1959 in Memphis, TN to the late Jean Wells.

Including his mother, Jean, John was preceded in death by two brothers, Marty & Graves.

John loved the beauty of nature and the peace that being in nature brought him. He was a Master of Photography, capturing the beauty of God's masterpieces through the lens of a camera. John was a former Disc Jockey and loved classic rock.

John is survived by his children, John Edwin Goforth (Jennifer) of Nashville, TN, Gabriel "Gabe" Michael Goforth (Crys) of Lexington, KY and Andrea Grace Goforth Dolen (Phillip) of Lawrenceburg, KY; two sisters, Jeannie Goforth of Memphis, TN and Janie Timblin (Kirk) of Irvine, KY; and his grand dogs, Doug, Lola, Ollie, Chester & Toby.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Eaton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 12 noon till time of service at 1:00 P.M.
