LAWRENCEBURG – Joey Allen Drury, age 66, husband of the late Janet Lee Smith Drury, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.  Joey was born July 9, 1956 in Anderson County, KY to the late Sterling Douglas Drury and Alline Agnes Drury.

Joey was a farmer and former employee with Wal-mart in Lawrenceburg;  He enjoyed woodworking, and most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren.

Joey is survived by his children, David Drury (Leslie) and Joanna Rains (David), all of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Austin Drury, Jessie Drury, Levi Rains and Luke Rains; four great grandchildren, Matthew, Elijah Waylon, Tavi, Roman and Atticus.

Including his parents, Joey was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Douglas Drury.
